Alright guys! Time to get this plot running and in gear. I'm going to change the rules a tad about Gatherings, but let's try this on for size. EVERYONE needs to post, and every pack but the BloodCult. We'll introduce them a little later to the actual packs. Let's gooooo!!!
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Moonfeather entered the clearing, the moon was high in the sky. It shone it's weak light upon the dying grass, just proving how pitiful the packs were becoming. Mocking them. Teasing them. Tempting them to attack. Yet, tonight all those feelings had to fade away, since tonight was the Gathering and everyone should be peaceful. How could everyone be peaceful when RiverPack and ThunderPack were fighting a whole lot and there was still a boat load of tension between ShadowPack and the Renegades, but it was slowly fading. The sleek molten gray wolf came to her pack's stone and sat under it. Lifting her nose to the sky, she gazed at the stars above, each sparkling with it's own different life. What will become of us? she wondered.
~ ~ ~
Moonchase shuffled into the clearing, his fur ruffling in the slight breeze. Sometimes you just need to stop and enjoy what life throws at you, he thought, stopping in his tracks. Closing his eyes, the aging warrior lifted his head and enjoyed the cool breeze hug and kiss his neck, shoulders, tail, and flanks. Sighing with relief, he continued on his way, finding a comfy place to settle himself down. However, not even the wind could wipe away his pain. Both physical and emotional pain. After seeing his mate, or ex-mate he didn't know about that one, and all that she told him tore his heart to shreds. His children would've loved him, and he was convinced that she had murdered them because he couldn't visit. Moonchase wanted to visit them, but he was bound too tightly. Or was that the excuse he gave? Did he really want to be a father? Sighing, the once proud warrior hung his head. Could there be a darkness in me, too?
~ ~ ~
Squirreltooth jumped and scampered into the clearing. His first gathering as a warrior! How exciting! The young male's heart was racing, as was his mind and tail. His fluffy brown tail stirred the grass underneath him, making them sway violently. Everything was too big to take in. All the different scents, sights, and land formations. He'd only been once, and that was right when he became an apprentice. Too excited to think or do anything, he simply scuttled to a small patch of browning clovers and parked it. Even then, his tail never stopped wagging and thumping the ground. Will I always feel this way at every Gathering? For once, everything seems the way it should be, he mused, looking at the entering wolves and wondering what the night had in store for him.

A huge she-wolf padded into the clearing, every spring of her paw was glistening with confidence and pride. She lead the pack in, so of course, she was the leader of ThunderPack. Silentstar thought of how interesting the gathering will be tonight, with ThunderPack and RiverPack in a quarrel and ShadowPack and the Renegades were also. Silentstar's fur began to prickle as she thought of the Renegades, although they were a lot different when she was first the leader, she still considered them killers. The she-wolf's fur smoothed down as she saw and scented that the group was not there, so she padded up to Mistgaze and whispered. "Don't let anyone get into a fight, I want this to be a peaceful gathering." And she prowled away, looking for the other leaders. A pretty, dark cream she-wolf bounded into the clearing, a goofy grin on her face. My first gathering as a warrior! She thought, loving the feeling. Then, Oakwhispers saw that another wolf was brimming with excitement, he scented like ShadowPack, she she swiftly padded over to the male. "Hello! My name is Oakwhispers, who are you?"
A huge wolf padded into the clearing, his bright amber eyes looking for his son. He found Squirreltooth with another new warrior, a she-wolf from ThunderPack. Bramblethorn chuckled and padded over to his mate, brushing her fur and staying by her side. _______________________________________ Same with me, if you need a wolf, just pm me or just post it and I shall get a wolvie out, but for now, I shall keep these until the next post, because I have late to school...

Whitestar split away from her group, letting them mingle with the other Packs that were present. She followed Moonfeather towards the rock she was meant to stand on for the duration of this sacred meeting. Nodding to her deputy and Bramblethorn, Whitestar stepped past her and bounded effortlessly onto the rock; it was so different from the Great Rock, where all of the leaders would sit together. The still coldness beneath her paws made her tingle a bit. Patiently, the white she-wolf curled her tail around her paws as she sat erect.
Sunspark and Orchidfrost came in together. They stood still as they tried to think of where to go. The maroon warrior looked around warily. There are always so many here. Unaware that she still walks among them, lives, breathes. But they don't know that, because of this innocent facade, Orchidfrost thought darkly. She cast a rueful glance at the warriors around her. Why can't I be normal too?
Reedsong stopped beside Moonchase. Besides the fact that he was aging, as all things do, it was also noticeable that he was depressed. A feeling she could relate to. Sitting down, Reedsong turned to look at her fellow Packmate. "Moonchase," she said, "I hope you won't mind a younger warrior sitting with you."
Having thought about this twice that evening, Dio lead his pack out of the shadows and into the sacred place where the Pack wolves met once a moon. The Renegades never went. They weren't part of the code and therefore not a part of this meeting. It was because of the Pack wolves' fear and hatred towards them. The fear and hate that the former alphas created that made every wolf's blood boil in anger at the mention of his pack's name. But it was time to change that. The Renegades possessed new alphas, and Dio figured that they had a right to be here. Boldly, he raised his chin in defiance as he was greeted with gasps and snarls. Dio's mixmatched eyes narrowed, daring any wolf to raise a paw against him or his pack members.

StormChaser entered the gathering. His white fur nice and fluffy, and it looked as if her could be a white lion, because it looked like a mane from the back. He scanned the gathering, looking at the other Wolves making small talk. He chuckled to him self. One day, perhaps, the wolves who were now being quit friendly, would be tearing each other limb from limb. He sat down and his fluffy tail cureled around his paws.

Moonfeather jumped slightly at Bramblethorn's touch, but found herself nuzzling his thick mane. Everything about him made her go crazy and loose her mind. She giggled and licked his muzzle. "Hello there," she greeted a little too late, but smiled nonetheless. She sat proudly next to her mate, and gazed across the clearing. One thing caught her eye, and it was the small group of females gathering around Squirreltooth. Usually, Moonfeather would be proud of her son, but they were ThunderPack she-wolves. She just rolled her eyes and snorted. Yonder, she saw Dio and the Renegades entering casually. She smiled a tiny bit, he was changing the appearance of them into a positive one. "Welcome Dio," she welcomed.
~ ~ ~
Moonchase looked over at Reedsong and smiled. She was such a nice and lively young warrior. It was comforting to Moonchase to know that the next generation was actually going to be decent. The aging warrior just smiled and chuckled a little. "I'd be honored if you did, Reedsong," he said, dipping his head a little. "How are you?"
~ ~ ~
Squirreltooth almost forgot to breathe as the ThunderPack she-wolf approached him. He was very awkward around femmes, but slowly getting better. "Hi, um, Oakwhispers. I'm, uh, Squirreltooth. Nice t.to meet you," he stammered, feeling like a total idiot. He has to be the big male and quit acting like a little pup. He puffed his chest out and let out a small smile.
~ ~ ~
Cottonseed paraded into the clearing, following her sister. The gorgeous white she-wolf pranced around all the gathering wolves, but shooting all the RiverPack wolves dirty glances. Her mocking smile was rude and disrespectful and that's what she wanted it to be. Her sister stopped and talked to a young ShadowPack warrior. Right away she could tell he was a wuss, a momma's boy. Cottonseed was too ignorant to see that it was Moonfeather's son. She managed to catch his name. "Squirreltooth, eh? I'm Cottonseed, if you wanted to know. I assume you met my sister, Oakwhispers, already?" she barked, her tail swishing side to side.
~ ~ ~
A familiar pair of dark, emerald eyes watched the gathering wolves entering the clearing. A familiar, dark gray she-wolf padded into the clearing with RiverPack. Her scarred coat shook in the wind, showing some of her ribs faintly. Scarfang, or should I say Layla, walked around, trying to find a secluded place to sit. Something stopped her, it was some familiar word that always made her smile a tiny bit. Dio, she thought and looked where all the other wolves were. Sure enough, the solid black male with the mismatched eyes padded in with the Renegades following. Layla made sure her brother could see her clearly before sitting in a small brown grass patch, and watching him like a hawk. I will try to get close to you again, brother, she thought and waited.

Oakwhispers twitched her fluffy tail as the male wolf stumbled on talking. "It's nice to meet you too. How are you tonight?" She woofed, humor and happiness in her voice. Then when her sister came, she gritted her teeth in anger on how dumb her sister was. "Hello Cottonseed." Bramblethorn nodded to the Alpha of the Renegades and woofed. "Yes, welcome Dio." He tried to sound welcoming, and he did a pretty good job, but there was a hardness in his words, like bide in honey. A fluffy white wolf bounded in the clearing. Stargaze loved the feel of the slightly green grasses, compared to her home on the moor, with no greeness. She felt a stab of pain as she knew that Mudriver and Jetstream wasn't chosen to come to the gathering, it would be nice to have her sibling with her. Stargaze sighed and padded next to another fluffy white wolf that scented of ThunderPack. "Hello!" She smiled as she looked at the male.

StormChaser turned too StarGaze. "Hello to you too." he woofed. His face was plan, but had enough emotion so he wouldn't look dead.Stormchaser ruffled his fur, making it puff up more. "I'm StormChaser of Thunder pack." he paused. "What might your name be?" he asked turning to her entirely.

Whitestar looked up as the Renegades came in. She rose to her paws to get a better look. "Dio, what a surprise! Welcome!" Whitestar called out to him. It was the first time they've come to a Gathering, not that she minded. Shadowpack had relatively good relations with them.
Reedsong returned the smile. "Thank you," she replied, curling her tail neatly around her paws. She heard his question, and her smile dwindled somewhat. "Better than normal." Reedsong hoped Moonchase hadn't forgotten Cinderpaw's recent vigil and burial. She couldn't bring herself to say her name.
Dio dipped his head in acknowledgement to Moonfeather, Bramblethorn, and Whitestar. He was grateful of Shadowpack's somewhat warm welcome, but there was also Thunderpack, Riverpack, and Windpack to worry about. Oh well, he was here now, and didn't plan on leaving. "Thank you! The Renegades are grateful, and eager to be here tonight," Dio replied. He looked around, and frowned. There were only four rocks. His stomach dropped as he stood there awkwardly. Four rocks for four packs, not five... Dio tossed an apologetic look over his shoulder to his group, but something caught his eye. A dark gray figure sat alone, watching him intently. There was something familiar about its eyes, but Dio couldn't place it. He felt like he'd seen this wolf before. Shrugging, he turned his attention back to the other leaders. Emerald eyes.

Silentstar looked at the leader of the Renegades and nodded. "Welcome Dio. I hope Renegades are well." Silent woofed, trying to act polite as she could. Silentstar knew that it would be wise not to anger any groups, especially the Renegades, she didn't want any ThunderPack wolves dead because of her not being polite.

An older she-wolf looked up from her group, filled with all elders, one including Deerkill, Cottonseed and Oakwhisper's father. She looked at the pregnant she-wolf and called. "Hey Mudpelt!" Snowflake called, beckoning the she-wolf over to the group.

Moonfeather placed her tail over Bramblethorn's to tell him that Dio was no harm to them. Her ears drooped a little as she saw that Dio noticed that there were four rocks. He was a leader and should have a high spot too. "Hey Dio, there's a limb over there right beside Whitestar if you wish to sit high with the other leaders," she told the black leader. Sure enough, there was a huge, bare limb sticking out beside Whitestar's rock. The deputy smiled and pointed her head towards the limb. "You deserve a place with the leaders, since you are one yourself," she added respectfully. Typical Moonfeather. She always had the best respect for everyone, except for those who didn't have any for her.
~ ~ ~
Zebraheart padded into the gathering, her entire body shaking. It has been way to long since she'd been to one, considering she was recooperating from the human gun shot that almost crippled and shattered her right hip. I'm just lucky to be alive, she always though, but looked at the stars and meant every single word. A few yards infront of her was Deerkill, the love of her life. She knew that he never thought she would never walk again, but she was happy to see his expression as she proved him wrong. Without controlling herself, Zebraheart carefully bounded over to him. She stopped and snuggled her head in his thin mane. "I love you," she mumbled, almost giggling in happiness.

An older male wolf looked around, his dark brown eyes glittering with the stars in his eyes. "Hello, my love." He whispered, kissing his love, Zebraheart. A new feeling came in his belly when he looked at Zebraheart's hip. Although it was healed, it looked like she was always in pain, at least, Deerkill would be. Then, he looked into her eyes again and love popped into his belly again.

Redblaze walked over to dio and the other renegades Why hello dio, its been a while since we all last seen eachother The deputy said dipping his head.
Emeraldblaze Remembered when they killed his best friend and he did not want to be friends with them. Even if they did change he didnt really care. He just wanted his family to be safe and the packs to be safe too. But he knew there was other danger out there.
Wolfhowl looked up to the moon and saw how pretty and full it was. When he was a pup, he herd about the battle that happened at a gathering. How tragic it was and everything. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thunderstrike was in the shadows watching the packs. She was pretty glad not being at those wasting time gatherings and plus She didnt even believe in starpack! A bunch of old wolves coming down and giving you advice, Thats a bunch of mouse brained stuff.

The Renegade leader nodded his thanks and departed from his group, briefly exchanging words with Redblaze. "It certainly has," Dio replied, and moved on. He approached Whitestar's rock, padding past Moonfeather and Bramblethorn. "Thanks," Dio whispered, and leaped onto the rock next to Whitestar. She moved over to let him get a better access to the tree branch, and he bunched his mucles and jumped, catching the bark with his claws. Dio positioned himself until he was comfortable, and gasped. The view was splendid from up here; he could see everyone.
Whitestar smiled as she moved back into her original stance, sitting comfortably. All new leaders were the same at their first Gathering - awkward, shy, but determined to be respectful and confident. She could still recall her first time. Back then, Whitestar had been naive and a little shy, but who could blame her? She, the new leader of Shadowpack, the most feared of all the Packs. Eventually, with time, it became easier with experience. Whitestar looked around, awaiting the moment this meeting would begin.
